We have many events at Rouken Glen Park, with themes such history, wildlife, conservation and education.

There really is something for everyone at Rouken Glen Park!

Activity Ranger

The Activity Ranger runs events and programmes at Rouken Glen Park, including:

-  Education sessions for Schools and Colleges

-  Biodiversity Improvements

-  Investigating the History and Archaeology of the Park

-  Conservation of Geology in the Park

-  Art and Cultural Activities

-  Conservation Days for a Range of Groups & Teams

-  Conservation Volunteering Days - refer to Volunteering section


There is FREE table tennis available at Rouken Glen Park- with balls and bats being available to borrow from the Pavilion Visitor Centre.

There are also tennis courts FREE to use by anyone- no need to book, just turn up and bring your own racket and ball.

These are open 24/7 all year round.


 Rouken Glen Park hosts a variety of events run by external organisations and local community groups - check these out at the events section.

Walking Groups

Short walks for all abilities- refer to the walking groups section.

Schools, Community and Corporate Groups

Rouken Glen Park has a series of Curriculum for Excellence lesson plans for early, first and second levels.

Local community groups and corporate groups looking for volunteering activities are welcome in the park.
